Alaz is a film production company founded by Atilla Salih Yücer and Kamen Velkovsky and based in Istanbul, New York & Porto. Having worked internationally with directors of different cultures and genre, their film credits include Steve McQueen's "Shame", Yorgos Lanthimos's "The Favourite", Jim Jarmusch "The Dead Don't Die", Yorgos Lanthimos's "The Killing of a Sacred Deer".

I had the unique challenge to build a brand system for Alaz Films. My goals were to investigate the brand aesthetics, arthouse references and company positioning and reflect the passion of the owners into the brand identity.

The logos are bold, confident, and strong with hand-drawn quality to embody the passion and careful craft that goes behind film producing at Alaz. I created supporting brand elements and compositions that serve as the backbone of the brand’s visual identity and can be used in print and social media
